We’ve always been driven by curiosity a desire to travel, to explore new places, and to connect with the stories of the people we meet. Photography became our way of embracing this journey, turning each experience into a frame that reflects both the world around us and the lessons we’ve learned along the way.
In 2013, we founded Salt’n’Pepper with this vision in mind, to document the beauty, depth, and uniqueness of human connections.
Weddings opened up an extraordinary path for us: a chance to witness and capture emotions, traditions, and fleeting moments that reveal the true essence of the people we photograph.
MARTINA
I grew up just outside the chaos of Rome, where the city fades and the pace slows. My childhood was filled with nature, quiet streets, and afternoons spent playing under the open sky. I’ve always loved mountains, live music, sketching, and above all, being around people. I believe that no matter how different we may be, emotions connect us all. That’s why photographing weddings is never just about the pictures, it’s about being present, empathetic, and helping others feel understood, supported, and free to be themselves. I bring my experience, my calm, and my eye for detail to each story, so that your day feels not only beautiful, but effortless.
CHIARA
I grew up in a quiet hilltop town in central Italy, where stories pass from one voice to another and time still moves slowly. Growing up in a place where beauty lives in the details taught me to observe, to feel, and to dream. I’ve always been drawn to movement and inspiration through travel, music, dance, vintage treasures, and timeless books. I have a soft spot for things that carry history: a worn record, a second-hand dress, a silent moment caught on film. My photography reflects this sensitivity. I blend fashion-inspired composition with documentary honesty, creating images that feel both editorial and emotionally real, refined, spontaneous, and full of soul.
