I was born in the spring of 1985 and grew up just beyond the chaos of Rome, where the city softens and life slows down.
From early on, I was always searching for connection – in people, in music, in images, in stories.
In 2009, I understood that photography would be my way of relating to other people’s worlds, with both gentleness and depth.
At first, it was portraits and live music. Over time, my eye moved toward relationships, gestures, atmospheres – everything that happens between people and quietly remains, even after the moment has passed.
In 2013, I founded Salt’n’Pepper with this vision in mind: to honour the beauty and uniqueness of human connection.
Weddings became a natural path. I experience them up close, with presence and restraint, following the rhythm of the day rather than forcing it.
For me, photographing a wedding means truly being there: observing, feeling, allowing space for what unfolds and translating it into honest, vivid images that are meant to last.

1. Booking, timing & pricing
Do you work all over Italy and abroad? How do travel and accommodation work?
Yes, we work all over Italy and travel for destination weddings across Europe and beyond. For each wedding we calculate travel and accommodation in a transparent way, based on location and schedule, and include everything in your custom proposal so you know exactly what is covered.
Are your prices including VAT / taxes?
Our rates are always quoted including VAT, unless stated otherwise in your proposal. This applies to both Italian and international couples, so there are no surprises or hidden fees.
How long do you take to reply to enquiries?
We usually reply within 24–48 hours on weekdays. Weekends are often wedding days or travel days for us, so if you reach out from Friday to Sunday you might hear back from us on Monday or Tuesday.
How far in advance should we book you?
For weddings and destination weddings we are often booked 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular weekends. Once you have your date and venue, the best moment to reach out is now: if we are still available we’ll guide you through the next steps, and if not we’re happy to recommend photographers we trust.
How does the booking process work?
Your date is officially reserved once we receive the signed contract and the retainer. First we send you a custom proposal, then if everything feels right we move to a digital contract: you sign online, send the retainer via bank transfer, and from that moment your date is secured in our calendar.
2. Wedding day coverage & extra events
How many hours do you stay on the wedding day? Can we add extra hours?
Our collections usually cover the full wedding day, from getting ready through a good part of the party. We’ll define start and end times together based on your timeline, and if you feel you need more coverage we can always add extra hours beforehand or on the day at a clear hourly rate.
Can we book you for the welcome dinner, brunch, pool party or other weekend events too?
Absolutely yes: we love documenting the whole weekend, not just the “main day”. We can add coverage for your welcome dinner, civil ceremony, brunch, pool party or any other event that matters to you, creating one continuous story of your time with family and friends.
Will there always be two photographers at our wedding?
For most weddings there will be two photographers from our team, so we can cover different locations during getting ready and have two perspectives during key moments. For very intimate celebrations one photographer may be enough; we’ll decide together based on your guest list, locations and timeline.
What happens if one of you gets ill or something unexpected comes up?
We work within a trusted network of photographers we’ve collaborated with for years, so in the rare case of a real emergency we can arrange a replacement aligned with our way of working. We still take care of all communication and post–production, so the experience and the final look stay consistent.
3. Style, direction & what we shoot
How much do you direct us and how much do you stay in the background?
Our approach is a mix of documentary and editorial: most of the time we observe and follow the natural flow of the day without interrupting. We step in more during couple portraits and a few key moments, gently guiding you with simple directions so you feel at ease, never stiff or over–posed.
Do you work with a shot list? Can we send you inspiration from Pinterest?
We’re happy to work with a short list of key moments and people you don’t want to miss (family formals, traditions, meaningful details). What we don’t follow is an endless list of specific images to replicate: we prefer to focus on your story and the real atmosphere, using any references as mood inspiration, not as a shot–by–shot script.
How do you handle family formals and group portraits?
We schedule a specific time for family formals so no one is left out and they don’t take over the whole day. Before the wedding we build a short list of important groups with you, and on the day we guide everyone through it in an organised yet relaxed way.
What kind of events do you photograph?
We focus on weddings, elopements, engagement sessions and editorial work connected to the wedding world. We work both directly with couples and with wedding planners and aligned brands, always with the same attention to people, relationships and details.
4. Files, delivery & products
Do you deliver all the photos you take? How many images can we expect?
We take a lot of images on a wedding day, but we only deliver the photographs that truly tell your story, removing test shots, duplicates and blinks. Depending on the length and type of event, you can expect roughly between 500 and 900 edited images.
How long does it take to receive the full gallery? How is it delivered?
The full gallery is usually delivered within 3-4 months after the wedding; during peak season it may take a little longer. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download your images in high resolution, share them with your loved ones and select favourites for albums and prints
Do you offer albums, prints and physical products? When do we decide the design?
Yes, we offer fine art albums, prints and a curated selection of physical products. We usually define album, formats and covers after you receive your gallery: you select the images that feel most “you”, and then we design the layout together, spread by spread.
5. Digital & film
Do you shoot only digital or film as well?
We work mainly in digital, but we can add film photography as an upgrade for couples who love a more tactile, timeless aesthetic. We’ll talk about it already at proposal stage, so you can see how this option fits into your budget and your wedding story.
How does film photography fit into the wedding day coverage?
Film doesn’t replace digital, it lives next to it. We use it in selected moments – couple portraits, details, quieter fragments in the middle of the party – to add a different rhythm and a more “tactile” feeling to your story, while still making sure we don’t miss anything important.
